These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TruthLens AI website, applications, and related services (the "Service"). The Service is operated by TruthLens AI ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and account

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account, and you must provide accurate information and keep it updated.

2. The Service

TruthLens AI provides AI-assisted analysis of conversations and screenshots, highlighting communication patterns such as credibility signals, potential manipulation tactics, evasion, and emotional framing. The Service is informational only. It does not detect lies, determine truthfulness, provide legal, medical, therapeutic, or investigative advice, and must not be used as evidence of any person's honesty or intent. You are responsible for how you use the outputs.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, harassment, or spam.
  • Upload content you do not have the right to share, or that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
  • Attempt to probe, scan, reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or otherwise interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, or introduce malware.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written consent.
  • Use the Service to make decisions about a person's honesty, character, employment, credit, insurance, or legal status.

4. Licence

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for your personal or internal business use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

5. Intellectual property

We retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including software, models, documentation, and branding. You retain ownership of the content you upload; you grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service to you.

6. AI-generated content

  • You are responsible for the prompts and content you submit, for verifying the accuracy of outputs, and for having the rights to any input content.
  • Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased and are not a substitute for professional advice or human judgment.
  • We may filter or refuse outputs, remove content, or restrict accounts that misuse the Service.
  • If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, contact us to request removal; repeated infringers may have their accounts terminated.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for: material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; you may request an export of your data for a reasonable period before deletion.

9. Warranties and disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce accurate results.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid to Paddle for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100. We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. 11. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold harmless TruthLens AI from any claims, damages, or costs arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the seller's jurisdiction of residence, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules of your place of residence.

14. Assignment and force majeure

You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events beyond its reasonable control.
